How We Embrace Farmers
One of our visions is being a good partner for clove farmers we embrace through the spirit of togetherness to produce quality clove by transferring knowledge, technology, innovation and GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) to maintain clove sustainability. We implement this vision by delivering optimum education, guidance, training and assistance regularly to make them independent and affluent.
Education
The integrated business we run is business from downstream to upstream. It means we cope with every inch of plantation thing from A to Z. We directly lead the pod selection until distribution.
It is because we care about the sustainability of both clove and farmers, we provide good education through specific approach to farmers.
We teach every farmer how to have a deep sense of belonging, so that they wholeheartedly plant and grow clove until the harvest comes as good as possible.

Guidance
We rely on a motto ‘from farmers, by farmers, for farmers’ based on our main goal to make farmers independent and affluent. Hence, besides education, we also guide farmers to handle planning, management, cultivation and clove usage.
Our Standard Operational Procedure in coping with clove cultivation relies on GAP or Good Agricultural Practices. This brings us to become one of the most excellent clove suppliers in Indonesia.
To reap the finest selected clove as our prime goal, we divide farmers into several groups which consist of 50 regular farmers and led by a farmer leader. We applied demplot or known as demonstration plot, where we provide samples of fertilizer to the best farmer leaders who have grown clove better and greener as role models.
In regard to high demand of demplot, we began to give a reward program on 2014. This program is an appreciation program to the best group by sending them demplot for free.

We conduct regular training to the group of farmers to make sure that all cultivation pactices run within the line optimally. The training encompasses of: soil management, compost making, safety harvest, etc.
We handle and monitor every phase directly. We ensure every phase runs so well from seedling to post harvest time. We assure that we produce and distribute only the best clove to customers.
As an appreciation to the most excellent farmer, we conduct regular competition and reward program periodically.

Assistance
Not only good education, guidance and training, we are facilitator that is in charge of providing facilities and assistance to farmers. We meet everything they need including aids related to cultivation area they are handling, such as seeds, plantation equipments, fertilizers etc.
We have a ‘Supporting-Tree’ program which educates farmers by using 3 cloves to cover all needs of the next 100 cloves.
